Lt Cdr Emmanuel Okojie

Lieutenant Commander Emmanuel Okojie hails from Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State. He was born on 25 December 1984 to the family of Major (rtd) F Okojie.  Emmanuel Okojie attended Ideal Nursery and Primary School Badiko Kaduna, where he obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1991. On completion of his tertiary education, he proceeded to the Nigerian Military School Zaria, where he also obtained his Senior Secondary School Certificate/Boy Certificate of Education (BCE). Thereafter, Emmanuel was admitted into the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) as a member of 55 RC (Navy) in 2003. On completion of his intensive military and academic training in the NDA, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) Degree in History, and was also granted a Presidential Commission to the rank of a Sub-Lieutenant in 2007.

Lieutenant Commander Emmanuel Okojie had served onboard various Nigerian Navy Ships and establishments in different capacities, as well as had attended several military and Civil Courses since after Commissioning. Accordingly, the officer served as a Watch Keeping Officer (WKO) onboard Nigerian Navy Ships LANA and OBULA. He was also a Boat Officer in Forward Operating Base (FOB) ESCRAVOS, including an Instructor NNS QUORRA, as well as a Navigating Officer (NO) onboard NNS OLOGBO over the years.   Lt Cdr E Okojie is presently the Pioneer Naval Assistant (NA) to the Pioneer Commandant Naval War College Nigeria (NWCN) Rear Admiral Thaddeus Christopher Udofia since 2017 to till date. Academically, Okojie has a Post Graduate Diploma Degree (PGD) in Maritime Security; and he is an Associate member of the Certified Institute of Shipping (ACIS), Nigeria.

Okojie’s hobbies include writing and playing ball games. The officer is happily married to Mrs Angela Stella Okojie and blessed with 2 Kids.
